www.com Ltd was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1996. As the name suggests, the business has been about websites and Internet software since the very beginning. www.com Ltd is England’s longest established and continually trading independent website development and Internet software company and remains a family run business, operating from offices in Ongar, Essex.
www.com Ltd has played a part in delivering many firsts, for example the first British Airways website and the first Financial Times website. The company has also provided bespoke website and software development services to some of the world’s best known brands, including Ernst & Young, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Ford Motor Company, BT Plc, National Grid, AT&T and many more.
Primarily focused on the Microsoft technology stack but with the resources, tools and experience to develop for all major platforms and devices, www.com is a registered Microsoft and Apple Development partner. The company has been consistently chosen over competing firms to develop cutting edge software for the past 17 years.
www.com Ltd is led by Technical Director Anthony Kirrane. With over 20 years of software development experience at all levels, Anthony brings not only technical experience, but a passion for technology and problem solving. Anthony continually pushes the company to innovate with each and every project it undertakes.
www.com Ltd has its own product called maxxpal™ which currently comprises two stand-alone or combinable products: maxxpal™ & maxxpalCMS™.
maxxpal™ is a web based business administration tool with ‘out-the-box’ features suitable for sole traders, the self employed and small businesses. It possesses built-in sophisticated banking class security; role based permissions; sharing; file management, integrated email and social networking features. The platform is also an ideal foundation for larger firms or those requiring bespoke functionality. It is highly customisable and extensible.
This platform provides all of the normally expensive but necessary features of business class software such as security, remote working, sharing, etc. for an affordable lease fee and customers needing customisations just pay an additional fee for what they need.
