We all love the undo button or Ctrl+Z feature of our favourite word processor. But wouldn't it be nice if we could undo changes long after we made them; the next day, month or even year. with maxxpal CMS every change, no matter how large or small is logged. It's one of the most popular features of our website building system and quite often the feature that causes a demonstration to stop with the delegates exclaiming the usefulness of unlimited undo.
There are two main scenarios where content rollback is invaluable. First is the inevitable mistake. You are halfway through editing some content and you accidentally lean on the keyboard. Replacing your well thought out prose with a load of gobbledeegook and then hitting save. In that scenario you can simply select the previous version of the page from the list and your content is replaced.
Another scenario is when you create content that is seasonal. It may turn out to be very compelling to your customers and generates a ot of sales for the period. However, when the seasons change so might your copy. Next time round though you don't have to re-invent the wheel you can simply look through the previous versions of the page in your website, use the preview feature to see the content in your browser and then choose to rollback replacing the current content with the successful text from your last campaign.
