Another great feature are 'Snippets'. Basically every piece of content on your site has assigned a unique name. What a snippet allows you to do is type a piece of content once, format it according to your requirements and save it. If you wish to display the same piece of content somewhere else on your site you do not have to type it out again. Instead you can use a very short special codeword in your text content to refer to the previously created and saved piece of content.
Confused? you shouldn't be. When you 'refer' to the previously saved piece of content within another page of your site the reference will be automatically replaced with the actual content from the original piece.
It makes building out your site a snap and allows you to easily re-use suitable snippets of information in, for example, the footer of every page.
In fact our snippets system doesn't just work with textual content. You can, for example create galleries of the images you upload to your site. By using a special tag designed to show thumbnails of image galleries you have defined you can provide your users with a neat simple way to browse your photos.
The snippets system also provides a way for you to offer links to downloads of files. When you upload files to your website you can assign the file to one or more categories that you have defined. Then, when you want to make one or more of those files available for download you can use a snippet tag designed for showing files. You can even limit the download links to a specific number from the total files available. This is a handy feature for showing the latest file within a category on your home page with a link to all files in that category on another page on your site.
