This video demonstrates how you can provide downloadable content to your users in a simple and straightforward way. It demonstrates how once you have defined a category for certain types of downloads you can simply add new content and the maxxpal CMS will automatically create the download link for you. Even recognising the file type and displaying the appropriate appilication icon next to the link.
Each link is automatically updated and the alternative text (the bit that pops up when you hover over links) is set for you. You have complete control including the ability to sort the downloads by date or alphabetically as well as showing 1, 3 or how ever many you wish.
A great feature for showing the latest download on your homepage with a link through to the entire collection of downloads somewhere else on your site.
